I am Kim, Founder + Creative Director of Alla Luna Baby. When my baby Remi was born, I was dissatisfied with every hair bow I ordered for they were either poorly made, too large, not contemporary enough for my taste, or not practical for our everyday activities. I started to play with fabrics and the sewing machine that I’ve had since college, and the next thing I know, the Remi Loop Bow was invented. With interests and requests from other moms when they saw Remi wearing the bows, their curiosity sparked my curiosity, and now we are here.
It has always been a dream of mine to start my own company. With my health scare when I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy at 38 weeks pregnant, I realized that life at any given moment, can change abruptly. Bells Palsy gave me the push I needed to resign from the safety of my 9-5 job and go all in with Alla Luna Baby in the Spring of 2021.
