When I think of Summer, summer vacations immediately come to mind, and one of my fondest, best summer vacation to date was the one taken during the Summer of 2012. Fresh graduates from college, my best friend Anna and I went on a wild adventure, and back packed Europe nearly that whole Summer. We visited over dozens of countries and cities in Europe and of all the places we visited, Italy and Cinque Terre touched me the most. The people, the culture, the art, and not to mention the food!... I truly fell in love with Italy forever.

As I began to prep and search for inspiration for the Summer 2021 Collection, Italy and specifically Cinque Terre immediately came to mind. The architecture; the vibrant colors of the 5 five glorious little towns, stacked and packed tight with small houses on the steep landscape; surrounded by lush nature, perched on the cliffs that overlook the Mediterranean Sea. I was so fascinated by the beauty of these five small villages: Manarola, Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso al Mare. They became the sole inspirations for the first summer collection. The rich and vibrant colors of the geometric prints in this collection represents the art culture of Italy as well as the colorful architecture of Cinque Terre.

     

The Nyla Bow (which was supposed to make her appearance in the past Spring Collection) and the Kim Knot Turban will be making their debuts in this collection. The timing could not have been more perfect because you will be thanking these two for helping you remain Chic while keeping the hair out of your face during this summer heat waves. Pronti? Via!
